Helen is highly competent with over 15 years experience working with children. She qualified with her NNEB in 1997 and completed her NVQ Level 4 in 2002. Helen has been a Nursery Manager for 10 years and has been responsible for setting up other day care settings in Wirral.

Shellie has 11 years experience working with children of a variety of ages. She qualified in her NVQ Level 3 in 2003. Shellie has worked in a supervisory role for several years and is now working alongside Helen.

Helen and Shellie have the responsibility for children with special and additional needs and are continually developing their practice in this and other areas, including safeguarding and first aid. Their vast experience and knowledge of child development means they are a perfect team and are ideal for parents and carers to seek advice and support on any parenting issues. They are always happy to help.
Our Staff Nursery Assistants
Our Nursery staff are all caring, enthusiastic and highly skilled childcare professionals. Our management team have over 20 years experience of working with children. We have Early Years professionals within our team to ensure that your child gets the highest standard of care at all times. Each room is staffed to the appropriate ratio and managed by an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualified practitioner. Your child will be allocated a Key Person who will be responsible for giving you regular feedback on your child’s progress. All staff receive regular training to ensure that their practice is always fully up to date.

What can we offer?

In all rooms the Early Years Foundation Stage Guidance is used when observing, planning and assessing children’s individual learning needs.

This guidance is also used when planning the environment for the children and activities are planned using the Seven Areas of Learning:
